Exposition

A girl named Goldilocks discovers an empty cottage in the woods. The three bears who live there are not home, leaving the door unlocked.

Rising Action

Goldilocks opens the door and invites herself into the bears' home, tasting their porridge, testing out their chairs, and laying in their beds.

Climax

The bears come home and find Goldilocks asleep in bed.

Falling Action

Goldilocks sees the bears and runs scared out of the room.

Conclusion

Goldilocks runs into the forest, never to be seen again.
